About

Nils Müller is a photographer based in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The primary focus of his work is portraiture, conceptual photography and the male nude. Born and raised in the Lower Rhine Region, he had an early interest in photography, taught the basics of the craft by his grandpa. He started with landscape photography and during his studies in Berlin he focused on the male portrait. Inspired by the black and white photography of Herbert List, Willy Maywald and Robert Mapplethorpe he followed his fascination for the shapes, textures, shadows in the human body and integrated it into his work.
